Hi
I am trying to uninstall msn messenger 7.5 from my PC but can't get rid of it. I don't want to replace it with anything - just remove it. I have been through Add/remove programs, and rebooted etc but when I switched on this morning, msn loaded and went online!! This is what is driving me mad too - I selected for msn not to load up automatically and not to go online anyway - but it always did.
So, if I go to Add/remove programs, it's not there, but if I look in All programs, it is - but I can only delete the shortcut from here - it tells me to go via Add/remove progs!!
How do I get rid of this blasted thing please?
I run Windows XP
TIA

It wouldn't be in add/remove programs, it's under the add/remove windows components tab of the window you had open."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

If that doesn't work, from start click run type msconfig go to the startup tag and uncheck msn messanger (might be called something else there, but you'll figure it out)0
