Foursquare - You are too far away.....

I use Foursquare to check in to a local pub on my Android phone, OSF. Since visiting a town 35 miles away 2 days ago, when I try to check in it says I haven't earned any points "as your device thinks you are too far away".

I have checked Google Maps and it is showing my correct location.

I have been checking in to the same place from the same location for months without a problem.

Any ideas what is causing this or how to remedy it?

Sounds a bit odd. So it shows the pub you are trying to checkin to (after a refresh) and then gives this message?

Try uninstalling/installing Foursquare to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the reply.

It seems to have righted itself again today. However as I work 35 miles away from home and where the pub is, I might have this problem again when I go back to work. It has happened twice now.
