Any recommendations for good value PL insurance suitable for a sole trader painter& decorator?
Mine's coming up for renewal and I can't decide whether to go for a cheaper, unheard of insurer (there are lots) or to stick with Lloyds TSB and pay through the nose.
In the end, I need one that will pay out if I ever need them to!
Many thanks in advance.

Who is the unknown insurer?0

I agree that's a good question: DH used to be in the business and as a result I could probably identify more insurers than the average man on the Clapham Omnibus. But the market's changed so much since then: one company takes over another which is taken over by a 3rd which then changes its names.InsideInsurance wrote: »Who is the unknown insurer?

Groupama at £69 is the cheapest I can find for the same cover. Quotations go up to £200.0 -
I have been very pleasantly surprised with the deal I have had from Hiscox Business, worth looking at their site or getting a callback (UK call centre).0
