Where to buy a feather duster

Hubby and myself would like to get a feather duster to help get rid of the annoying dust that gathers around the cornicing. We've (or should I say I) have been looking for one but can't find one anywhere - I've tried the large supermarkets, poundshops but just can't find one.

Any help on where to get one?

I have a proper ostrich feather duster with a telescopic handle which I bought in Macro years ago - it was £9.99 + vat (engraved on my brain as I had spent months searching for one)

Just had a quick google and they sell them on Amazon and Ebay and even in Lakeland but they are not at poundshop prices I'm afraid.

You can get them on ebay - ostritch feather are beast because the natural oils on the feathers make the dust stick to them. You can also wash them in a bit of baby shampoo when they get a bit grotty and it brings them right back to life.
  • Wilkinsons sell them, pound shops get the artifical ones.
