If you tuck your sleeves into your gloves then when it rains water will run down the sleeves and into the gloves. No waterproof glove in the world will stay waterproof when the sleeve is tucked inside the glove."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Trebor16: That makes sense, maybe I was reading the suggestion as being 'never' tuck your sleeves into your gloves, suggesting there was more of a safety issue attached to doing it, rather than 'If it looks like it could rain/is raining don't do it. Cheers anyway.
