Bought flat with parking but... no parking!

I completed on a flat yesterday (wednesday). The flat was marketed as having secure allocated underground parking and I specifically asked my solicitor to confirm this point. He emailed me to confirm that I have the right to park in one of a number of allocated spaces in the underground car park. The estate agent also confirmed this, having checked with the management agent who was acting on behalf of the vendors (it's a repo of a shared ownership property so both a mortgage company and a housing company involved).
So I went to the estate office last night to clarify where the parking is and confirm access, and the guys on the desk knew nothing about it. They reckon that all spaces have been sold to individuals.
I am waiting for confirmation from the estate manager, but it looks very likely that I don't have access to parking at all. I will contact my solicitor once I have confirmation, but can anyone give me any ideas as to whether I have any recourse, and if so, is it against my solicitor, the vendors, the estate agents or who?

It follows that if the spaces were sold to individuals that one of those individual is the person who sold the flat and a space to you.....
Look you completed yesterday and the agent won't have had the notice of change of ownership let alone the poor people in the estate office. If the HA is managing it they may not know for weeks let alone understanding the implication of it.
Your way to solve the problem will be the estate manager assuming they know who has what space or right to access spaces, though they may refer you onto someone else in the organisation.
If you dont get what you were told you were buying, then your redress is against the vendor with the assistance of the solicitor who will have the lease and contract, although if they got it wrong, you may have redress against them too.
Work with them now to solve it and engage in recrimination and redress only if you have to or afterward.
It might, and I hope so, that it is just be a state of temporary cluelessness while the paperwork catches up- yes, it takes time.Stop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
