Using sale of shares as part of my deposit

Have just had an offer accepted on a property and selected a mortgage with the MA.
Part of my deposit it however is made up of the sale of shares (which i sold on tuesday) will take a while for the cheque to get here from the states and clear though.
Just wondering if the mortgage company is likely to have any problem with the sale of shares forming my deposit as the money isn't yet sitting in my bank account?
The shares are sold and evidence of this and the sale amount was included with my cash savings when dealing with the MA who didn't seem to forsee a problem.
Looking for some further advice/experiences though.....
Thanks

If it is for a property under about 1.5 mill, it is probably too much for your average call centre droid to understand. Shares are not for little people.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The MA basically has a print out from my share portal stating shares have been sold for X amount on 27/03/12 along with my full savings account amount.
So the 2 forms basically represent savings i would have thought or am going to have to explain things to someone in a call centre or wait for the cheque to clear?0
