Kids Clubs

Hi

We are looking to book a 10-14 night holiday shortly. Unsure of dates as yet.

It will probably be to Egypt.

Last year we went to the Holiday Village Red Sea by First Choice. The kids (and adults!) loved the first choice run kids clubs. We wanted to return this year but the prices are sky high.

I'm concerned that all the other holidays I look at say hotel run kids club. Do they have to have trained staff running them? Also do they run a few clubs a day in a similar fashion to first choice?
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

  • First Choice, Thomson, TC etc run kids clubs are generally better as the staff are trained to UK standards ie CRB checked and the same Health and Safety standards as UK, hotel run kids clubs are a bit hit and miss, some have very high standards, others not so good, however, we stayed at the Hotel Calypso in Salou last year, the Kids Club was Thomson run and very good, the hotel did not have it's own Kids Club, what it did do was have an excellent activities program for kids run by the hotel entertainment staff, many of whom were english anyway. I suspect that in Eygpt the standards won't be that high unless you go with the tour op Kids Clubs.
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world
