I think you mean "type" :rotfl:
Very good statement by Anne Robinson at the end of the article, short and to the point about any "rights" the PPC has to money, though it could have said a bit more.
Anyone missed it, I expect it will be on iPlayer and its in the first 8 minutes of the programme.0 -
Please, let someone ticket Barry Cryer. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

More feeble excuse's from the BPA compliance team, the OPC signs were only a small transgression so they haven't taken action. Pity OPC don't do the same for motorists. The BPA didn't see much wrong with the signs yet a court of law convicted OPC on them?
Whilst on the subject of TV did anyone see "The Sheriffs are coming" yesterday? It featured our friends at APCOA who don't only seem intent on ripping drivers off, but their own employee's! A lady had been having £122 a week stopped from her wages to be paid directly to her landlord. APCOA had not past it on, she took them to court and won a Judgement, they still never paid, so she sent the High court enforcement officers in who wanted over £19K or they were going to strip the offices of goods!
They left after APCOA paid!
Oh they said it was a mistake and they had intended to deal with it?
If you want to see it! http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01f9y2x/The_Sheriffs_Are_Coming_Episode_9/ starts at 2.24min0 -

When hell freezes over probably. PPC not paying CCJ, what a surprise. Job for Osbourne and co, legally prevent any company ignoring ccj's.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
I missed it but I've tried to find it on the bbc iplayer website and its not there! I searched last night and last weeks watchdog came up but now thats gone and this weeks isn't there at all. Last night it showed that they had 'clips' but i wanted the whole thing so continued waiting. Now there isn't even any clips - the search results just come back with nothing!0

No mention of the "f" word, no statement about the BPA being the "industry regulator", and a clear statement from a respected, albeit heavily botoxed, BBC presenter that the RK has no legal obligation to disclose the driver's name.
Somebody actually bothered to do some research, well done BBC.
Unsurprisingly, no DVLA representative was on hand to comment on the fact that, during OPC's 47-day barring from accessing keeper data, they stockpiled thousands of reg. nos., and got the RK details en bloc electronically the day after the ban ended.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Can anyone provide a brief summary of what was discussed regarding PPCs on Watchdog??0

The text and video are here

Sadly it misses AR's statement at the end that a PPC has no right to any money without proving their case in court.0
