All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

Humax are widely accepted as excellent quality, even if not the cheapest. But worth considering their refurbished Foxsat boxes:

They come with a 1 year warranty.

Do not forget you need a dish and cabling to use the receiver.

What about an old sky one.

If it doesnt need to be HD you can pick these up for a fiver at the boot sales. Even HD ones are down to £25 or £30 now.

You need a sky freesat card which is abotu £20 but most of the boxes I see still have card in them as people don realise they are still in there.

Sky boxes used for Freesat can be a complete pain to use for Freesat - best get receiver designed for the job.

Don't buy the cheapest(not money saving is it):D OK let me ask you to expand on your needs , Do you want recording, Do you want HD, do you want iPlayer , What's your telly/s give everyone a clue , saves everyone suggesting stuff that is not suitable. OH and I would suggest a USB/PCi card for your PC but there aren't many that can do HD etc etc. So my post is useless but ?

Edited: Another thought Freesat is just the EPG , there are lots of free channels on various satellites that don't figure on "Freesat"
