                    A warning from the government/media about property shortages.
Not sure you'll get too many 3 bed semis in a jerry can though.
Hamish & co. try their best, as do shows like Homes Under The Hammer, but what's really required is the message to be broadcast louder and clearer. Bring back Nationwide's Fionulala onto the Breakfast news, that's what I say. Maybe her smug grin won't be quite as wide in the current climate, but I'm sure she could convince people to to pay a little more for their houses.
If it works for petrol, it can work for property (as was proved 2001-2007).
