Yorkshire Bank Visa PPI

Hi all,
I sent the template letter for my credit agreement on my VISA card and have received a letter saying they can't find it! They go on to say that if they do find it they will enforce it and have inferred that they will leave an adverse credit score with the credit reference agencies.
My account is not in arrears and I now clear it every month.
What is my next step? Is it just them trying to scare me off?
Hope someone out there can help,

Thanks, Rod

Unfortunately, some of the advice given on MSE has given rise to misunderstandings. The credit card company fears that you may want to take them to court because they can't provide the terms and conditions you've requested.
HOWEVER, if you simply want to ascertain whether you have PPI on the card in order to complain about mis-selling, then quickly explain this to them otherwise you may find your card is suspended.

You only need the account numbers to make a PPI complaint, not the terms and conditions.
  • Thanks for putting my mind at ease over that, I'll get in touch with them straight away.

Hi again. Does any one know if the offers of redress that banks make are truly the amount that should be forthcoming or if they just make offers to get rid of you?

If you have been mis sold you get full redress, some may try it on with a goodwill gesture, maybe there are no details for the card or loan and they just pay £xx which is good if both parties have no proof of the PPI.
