Renault Scenic Radio/CD

I have an 06 Renault grand scenic which I love. I have had it since new and it has never had a single thing wrong with it and has passed every MOT first time (tempting providence....) Anyway the last few weeks the radio has gone really crackly and it "loses" stations as I am driving along. Radio 2 is the worst, but it does it on all stations. The CD player is still okay. I have no idea about this sort of thing and don't want to go to the garage in case I get ripped off - anyone know what it might be?
