I'm on the mailing list for a few but none seem to match my specs. Or they come through too late. Like I got one last week that said I'd need to have started a new packet of the pill on or before the 30 Sept or something. Obviously this came through after that date so there was no way of me making sure I had.

Would be nice if one comes up for after the 27 as I have a few weeks off before a new job. Keeping my eyes open and all that.

Mamma needs a new phone/car (phone smushed and no car).
If you don't believe you can ever do it, you never will.
  • I used to do more beauty related ones. I remember being paid to use mascara, face wash, soap, to get my legs waxed and occasionally have samples of things like soap taped to my skin to check for reactions. All easy money and it was usually about £20 a visit and more if the study was longer. If I found somewhere that done that near me I'd probably do it again.

  • I'm doing a clinical trial at the moment and would completely recommend it. The main thing is to sign up to and go to screenings for a lot of the companies - quotient, quintles, flucamp etc. Once you've been screened you'll get the trials through and it'll be a pretty quick process from there. The amount of money is based on length of trial and inconvenience rather than the risk involved, which is extremely low if you look at the numbers of trials carried out.
I'll get paid £3k for 18 days, the same as I'd have saved in about 3 months of working full time, totally worth it if you're saving for something.
  • I have done a medical trial every year since 2006 except 2009 when I did 2.I can whole heartedly recommend them for those wanting money quickly.I have done trials ranging from a 3 day trial for £950 to a 37 day trial which netted me £3900.There are plenty of things to do and you can of course bring a laptop in with you.You have more chance of winning the lottery then something adverse happening on a trial.I find it a shame that there are a lot of people out there who really need the money that a medical trial would bring but don't volunteer for one, either through never hearing about them or thinking something bad will happen to them.
  • are quintiles legit? i have screening tomorrow and have received no email confirming and i cant seem to log on to their site to view my account.
they have indian call centre and the book now button on their emails seem to just open blank page.

Are there any companies that does their trials in a more central southern location? Somewhere a bit closer to the Dorset/Hampshire area.
  • I've part of a research programme at Cambridge Uni, signed up via my doctors surgery! They had a leaflet and were looking for people young people to take part in a project on mental health and brain development. I get paid for surveys and samples comes in handy!
