Electric Meters? HELP
Comments
-
In actual fact the majority of prepayment meters do not have a debt being paid back through them.
Prepayment meters are no more expensive on average throughout the year than the supplier's standard tariff. However you cannot get any discounts on the standard tariff if you have a prepayment meter by going onto a fixed rate, paying by DD or registering for paperless billinh. Additionally, you pay more in the winter and less in the summer on a prepayment meter than you would if you had a standard meter (in order to keep the heating going in the winter).0 -
Domestic suppliers can NOT charge a security deposit anymore.
It would be good if you have this source because Which still quotes it and there is an article on here by Archna which was updated by Martin 20/09/2011 that still quotes them doing it.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
