    Bigger Yorkie bars.

Oh and some other unimportant stuff like defending industry standards, safety, pay and pensions.

I'd hate to be a tanker driver, 45K to risk your life driving all that flamable liquid about isn't a lot.

Also the risk of being hijacked as fuel prices go up

I'm all for the strike just wish they would also throw in complaints about cost of fuel too :)

How many tanker drivers have been blown up in the UK in the last 10 years?

It's pretty decent for what is essentially a semi-skilled job that requires no other qualifications than the appropriate driving licence.

Do you have any idea of just how utterly wrong you are?

Semi skilled? No other qualifications other than a HGV licence?

I would suspect they have taken a cue from the tube drivers. When TFL bent over and gave them just what they wanted, it started the ball rolling with one union trying to prove they could be as hard as the next.

Is the level of skill required higher than any other tanker driver?
