  • Hi,

I am currently setting up a mortgage with Accord. So far they have been very good for me. They have been quick with getting things set up so no complaints here.

They are a part of the Yorkshire Building Society who I gather are one of the biggest UK building societies. The ties to YBS are not highlightes because Accord only sell their mortgages through mortgage brokers and IFAs and not direct to the public.

  • hello

can you tell me how long you mean when you say thay have been quick setting things up.

the reason i ask is because they have not yey gave my FA a definate answer as to whether they have accepted me for my mortgage, I sent them all the relevant info 2 weeks ago.

They have had my money for a survey to be done?? They had the money last wednesday (a week after my wages info(dont ask)) and im still waiting for the results of the survey. nearly a week.

    thanks

  • I have a mortgage with Accord, they seem to be no better or worse than other lenders. I've had to phone a few times about various things, their customer service leaves a bit to be desired, but everything else seems to be fine. My survey took about 3 weeks to come back, so don't get worried yet!!

What I meant was that they were able to process mortgages quickly (within 30 days) which was a requirement of my house purchase offer.
