Are these dongles slower than if you had the compatibility in the tablet computer?

No they are often faster as they have bigger antennas, and able to get stronger signal thus faster speeds.
4g and LTE is only available in certain trial regions of the UK at the moment0 -
And remember there are NO true 4G services in the UK at the mo, don't get too hung up on marketing talk!0

So if you buy a tablet computer with the latest super fast processor and without a 3G/4g/LTE compatibility and then just get a dongle and just update the dongle as the 4G/5G arrives you're getting the dongle flexibility without having to pay extra for the facility in the tablet in the first place?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
