we had one here in the UK and found the site fees alone were £1000 a year and that was cheap. If you consider your intial outlay+flights+ground rent each year it might be worth just finding a nice site and getting a long stay deal each year.

Thanks now they have me trowling the net looking for a holiday house oh my heads so sore, they watch the tv holiday programs and it looks easy enough on tv but the reality is hard work oh I suppose I will plod on anyway0

I agree with saveapenny. Site fees, insurance etc. soon add up. You will probably be better off paying rent for the time you will be there. You would also have the option of changing to different sites, something hard and expensive to do if you own.0
