Parking Charge notice from Courtsey car . !

Options
Hi i got a call from my garage saying the car i had borrowed had been sent a charge notice and they expect me to pay up . . Had this been my own car i would have just ignored everything. . However I signed the usual courtesy car form promising to deal with all fines parking tickets .. . etc Am I still safe to ignore the PPC notices or should I write and tell them where to stick their invoice . . . . ( in the shredder . . ! ) as their own signs do not refer to limited parking just an instruction to enter your reg number on th ekeypad as you leave the store . . Any Advice . .?

To make it easy just tell the company who are registered keepers to give the PPC your name and address then you can ignore them!

Also you can remind them that this is not a fine or a penalty its an invoice! A speculative invoice in fact!

Yes, you need to make 100% sure that the garage fully understands this is NOT a fine or a penalty and therefore neither they, nor you, will be paying it. Or at least, if they are foolish enough to pay it, not to come looking to you to re-imburse them. Point them in the direction of this forum so they can learn for themselves.

You haven't given them a credit card number I hope?
