POA and PPI

I don't know where to start! My Mum and Dad obviously had a mortgage for many years, and credit cards. My Dad passed away in 2008 and Mum now has dementia so me and sister have Power of Attourney. Where would we start in terms of looking into mis-sold PPI and bank charges? They banked with Lloyds TSB for many years (previously TSB only).

Any help appreciated!

Banks won the court case on charges so dont waste your time unless they are currently in financial hardship

With regards to PPI, you look on the credit card statement and if you see PPI being deducted then they have it. If it isnt there then they dont.

With MPPI, if it was going through the bank statement on a monthly basis then they had it. If it wasnt then they didnt.

Remember that there is nothing wrong with having PPI and MPPI has far fewer complaints. Any complaint is on the basis of them being mis-sold or being unsuitable. What would be the reasons for complaint?
