toolbars

can somebody help me please i'm not a very techie person. I have clicked something called menu toolbar and status toolbar and it has changed my page and my file edit etc have gone missing and my search bit for the internet has gone as well. I keep trying to get the menu toolbar and status toolbar to come back and I can't find it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

is this within Internet Explorer ? or just the operating system you use (vista/windows 7 ??). Bit more information please.

sorry it is firefox I was trying to set money saving website as a home page and I think I have clicked toolbars by accident. I seem to have a few things missing like browser forward and backwards buttons and some other things. I think it was menu toolbar and status toolbar I clicked but I can't find them anywhere now.

Right click an empty space at the top where the toolbars/menus are (or should be).

I do that and it is coming up new tab I can't get it to bring up anything about toolbars. Don't know where they have got to.

Start in firefox safe mode & reset them.

Eureka! I've found it thanks for everyone's help. I won't do that again I had all sorts of technical stuff coming up and I lost google. The page went upside down and I managed to change colours as well. I must get booked on a computer course. I just about manage to post and look on here.
