Monryspider, that is awful. Can understand why you ate so upset. Look at it this way, he does not currently have her full time, he doesn't know what its like. She may also change her mind once she has been there a few weeks. Kids like structure and routine. This is fun as it is ad hoc.0

I'm nipping in to chat later, but just wanted to let you all know that there's a.... SWAGCODE!!! - 3 SBs, on the blog, valid until 9pm.
EDIT: make that 2 codes, both worth 3 SBs.0 -

Thanks Bluecow, that's a good pointI really can't wait for it to be over, so I will definitely enjoy my evening more!
Money Spider - How awful of him to give her such an ultimatum! That's so mean of him!
To be fair, at the age of 15, you can still stop her - she won't be very pleased about it, but you can.
When is she 16? Maybe compromise and tell her that it's your decision at the moment, but she will be old enough to decide for herself when she's 16/has left school.
I've got £7.79 to add today, from using my Advantage card points to pay for shopping.0 -
Hmmmm, just had an extra Tax Cradits payment. Only had my usual one yesterday, and this one's about £20 more than my usual payments. I've not had a letter about it, so will wait and see what it's about.
I'll just about hit target if it's an overpayment0 -

i can't compete with that(
Of course you can't. She lives with you full time so you need to give her routine and boundaries. Imagine if you only saw her every other weekend (no I'm not tying to make you cry sorry) would you spoil her? Let her do whatever she wanted? Buy her a takeaway for tea? Of course you would. If she moves in with him he will eventually stop doing all the nice things he does now cos he won't be able to sustain it. Then she will realise that maybe it wasnt such a good idea but atm the grass is greener. Sit tight and be there for her when it turns out to not be the paradise shes expecting.
In the meantime we are all here to listen to you rant and rave so you are supportive and calm for your daughter at home. I hope it works out for youGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Moneyspider - That sounds like a bit of a cruel thing for her dad to do, to give her an ultimatum like that. I know it's hard, but if you did let her move you may find that she'll be back in a few months because it's not how she imagined. What is it they say, you have to let them go so they can come back to you?
£135 to add from job 2 and an extra £20 for doing such a good job
I'm a bit stressed at the min as I was contributing to a thread and sort of slighty broke the rules. I amended the post because I honestly did it by mistake but some grumpy g*t is now pressing spam on all my postsAs if I'm spamming - I'm just chatting! Mind you if that's all that's making me stressed I clearly spend too much time on this forum!

£14.99 saved off shopping. Did 2 weeks together as I thought I could use the £10 off £80 but only discovered at checkout that it does not start until 30th
Still managed to use up coupons that end this week and would have otherwise gone to waste. Got ebay sales to add and still waiting on TCB payment which is due tomorrow, so may just make target in time.
