Bluetooth Headset Recommendations

Hello.
I was thinking about buying a new bluetooth headset to replace the one i sold some time ago but I was wondering if any of you had recommendations for which ones to go for.
I was thinking of going for the jabra BT500v because I like the over-the-ear shape, plus the battery life is an impressive 12 hours. However, the BT500v does not have noise-cancelling. I have seen other headsets with noise-cancelling, but I'm not so keen on those big long-hooked designs.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks.
Hussein.

I'm a big fan of the Jabra, no complaints from people at the other end either. found it for about £22 online the other day.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0

Thanks. Yes, that was what was purplexing me, I liked the BT250v, had no particular problems with it, I guess it's just me seeing all the other headsets with DSP and other fancy noise cancelling features that's leading to question the jabra's effectiveness.
Granted, with the 250v I didn't really use it in noisy environments much, but now I'd be using it outside a lot more, whilst shopping, and where noise could be a problem.

Sorry to hijack this thread but do you have to by a particular bluetooth headset to be compatible with a particular phone or is it a case of "one size fits all". Don't know anything about them but in light of the new rules starting today, thought I'd better look into it.
Also what is the starting price. Think I've seen one advertised for less than £20 but can't remember where.
Thanx.Useless x;)

All bluetooth headets should work with all bluetooth phones as bluetooth is a standard. Tesco often have some cheap ones in. I think I paid £15 for one from there a while back, I doubt if it's the best one but it works OK for the amount of time I use it.It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Yep, there is a standard (Bluetooth 1.2) but that is pretty much synonymous with all phones these days, maybe the very VERY early ones may have problems with profiles, but that is a fraction of the phones out there.
Also, the rumour that manufacturers' headsets only work with their own phones (e.g Motorola with Moto phones) is a myth. Yes, they may have certain features that are exclusive, but they will work basically with any phones.
I'm going for the Jabra, I can always ebay it if the noise cancelling is an issue. Going for the BT500v due to the long battery life and USB charging, the BT800v is too 'tacky' and a little on the bulky side from when I tried it last time.
