I also have a faulty pink one. Replacements are not available but I like the cover so refused the refund and decided to keep it even though the light doesn't work.

Can't even do that, the hook is so bent it won't slide into the kindle.

Hi, I wondered if you tried the light with the kindle on, mine doesn't work if it's on standby. Also, you need to make sure the light is pulled out as much as it can. Sorry if you've tried both of these, but they don't come with a manual do they??
I saw a demonstration about 1 on the feedback section on the amazon page, don't know if that helps at all?

Got my cover this morning. It's great! You do have to turn on the Kindle for the light to work.

Thanks once again to the OP! x

I have bent the hook accidentally and managed to unbend it using pliers.

I collected my new red cover from the sorting office today after missing delivery yesterday. Very pleased with it, the box had been resealed but it looks brand new. Off topic, but has anyone personalised their kindle with one of these skins - I was wondering what they are like?

my cover arrived today too, I just managed to get a black one before they all disappeared. I chose one that said 'used, as new' but it seems to be brand new, no marks on it at all and the box was unopened and not damaged.

am very pleased with it as have wanted one for ages but didnt want to pay the full price, many thanks OP
  • Just got a message- my order has been cancelled as the items are "unable to source from supplier". Rubbish :(. Guess I shouldn't have got supersaver delivery

I have one for my ipod touch - they're really good quality and it looks great. Personally, I wouldn't bother with one for my kindle because I have a cover for it, but I do like the products.

    I have bookshelf BTW.

Thanks OP. My green one was delivered this morning - works perfectly, and looks great. I'd have never paid £50 + for it though. ;) Bargain!!!
