    I received the green one yesterday, the box was sealed as new. thought the light wasn't up to the job, but when tested in the dark it is just about perfect.

    my red one too, think we should complain. surley they should honor the price, if I picked something off the shelf then they have it, amazon should only sell whats in stock it said they wherre in stock and they clearly wernt so will be complaining here

    Evening All,
    Sorry for being a bit dense, mine arrived today - apple green which is lovely - but for the life of me I can't work out how to switch the light on! Did manage to work out that it pulls out from the cover, but that's all - any help appreciated.

    Have you put the pins on the cover into the side of the Kindle? And the Kindle needs to be turned on. :)

    You need to put your kindle in your cover - put the bottom hook in 1st, swing your kindle round and push the top hook down to fit it into place. Then switch on your kindle and pull the light out as far as it will go. Good luck!

    You don't need to plug the Kindle into the wall socket if that's what you mean? :o It just needs to be charged and switched on.

    Just checked my amazon account as I also ordered the burgundy red lighted cover for three quid odds and it says 'item not dispatched yet' with no mention of dispatch date. I wonder am I going to get a cancellation email too? ;(
