Best IPad Personal Finance App?

Hi all

Trying to make the leap 100% to Apple away from winblows, but miss Excel for my personal finances. What is considered the best Ipad App for Personal finance, bills expenditure sums on a monthly roll?

Cheers

Thanks but don't want to pay the monthly fee... (proper money saving stylie)

Looked at "Cloudon" which is basically a remote desktop session to a server with office 2010 on it but then read reviews "laggy" "unresponsive". Hope the dev's sort that out soon as it's free :)

But really want to start afresh and find a better personal finance "all in 1" package that doesn't cost too much? and isn't anything to do with Microsoft..

    Cheers

    Why not numbers from apple?
  • Numbers is a good, workable solution.

This is just a thought, but if you are going to run an app on your iPad with all that useful data, how are you going to back it up for when your iPad fails/dies/gets lost etc

Any different to a laptop, net book, tablet?

Regardless of device, surely backing up is essential.

Oh and by the way, have you heard about iCloud?

LOL ! (not if I sell the laptop :) )

Thanks very much for all the responses food for thought. Anyway been looking into google apps and their import of excel spreadsheets is pretty good but limited in size (my personal finance excel sheet is around 5mb lol) so had to separate some stuff out and have more than one spread sheet :) But works a charm! Good ole Google! (yes I would use ICS and Android if I could get over the slight delay in touch response). Another discussion for another day :)

Numbers is similar to Excel if you want to do spreadsheets etc.

Yesterday I downloaded MoneyWiz from iTunes which looks quite good if you would like something rather different.

There are some good suggestions on this thread:
    Hey,

I have just got a new full time job and I want an application on my iPhone that lets me set budgets for different things, eg food, trains, savings. Then I want to be able to input how much I have spent on each things so I can see how Much money I have left to spend per month. I also want to be able to put in how much money is in my purse, credit card and savings account. When I input the Money I have spent on my groups of stuff I want to be able to select we're I spent it from, eg purse or card.

Does this exist?! Ha. Can anyone make this?!

If not, how can I manage this?!

I'm looking for something that will seamlessly sync between my iPad, iPhone and Macbook, so Moneywiz is a contender. I'm struggling with the thought of paying £17+ for it but it will be used A LOT, judging by how much I currently use the EXCELLENT iPhone App 'Account Tracker' (by Graham Haley) at the moment.

YNAB is also highly recommended. But £34+ ??!!

There is something called Simplibudget on both the Mac + iPhone App Stores, VERY cheap but only one review. Compared to £17 and £34 for the other two, it might be worth trying even if it doesn't work out.
