Wanted, ideas for last minute cheap weekend away in March with dog!

Hello

Me and my husband are wanting to get away from it all for a weekend very soon. We are having a 'proper' holiday in May (a week in a cottage in Cornwall) but are wanting to go away for a cheap weekend in March to keep us going until then as we are both really stressed at the minute. We live in Bedfordshire so ideally want to go somewhere within a couple of hours driving distance and leave on the Friday after work and come back on the Sunday. But most importantly it has to be cheap and dog friendly!
Anyone have any suggestions?!

Thanks in advance,
Lea

  • Have you tried looking via the dogfriendly website ?

Alternatively you could try and get one of the cheap Travelodge rooms (£15 rooms still available in same places). We have stayed at several locations with a dog - supposed to be £10 per pet per stay payable on arrival, but we found that this was often waived if the receptionist liked our dog!! See pets section in their help pages.
