Not paid full amount of PPI

I queried my PPI from LLoyds on a loan before the new legislation and they gave me £600. Under the new legislation I would have been entitled to much more.
Can I do anything about this?

Hi and welcome
Well you could try writing to ask, no harm done, and if you feel you have missed anything such as further info, let them know.
As I always say, if you don't ask you don't get.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Stop being so pedantic, Dunstonh! It's obvious the OP simply means the fact that the Banks lost their court case. Previously complainants were often getting only "goodwill" payments rather than full redress. There has been no change in legislation.
Nothing to stop the OP from requesting a further consideration if this was the case for him.0 -

Its not pedantic. The banks wanted to bar a significant number of people from making a complaint. They lost that case. No legislation changed and it impacted on those that yet to make a complaint as they now know that they can make a complaint without the bank saying that they are barred.Previously complainants were often getting only "goodwill" payments rather than full redress.
most PPI payouts are goodwill payments and you sign to accept that as being the end of the complaint.Nothing to stop the OP from requesting a further consideration if this was the case for him.
By all means and the OP may well get an offer with certain banks.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
