Blocking Outgoing Mobile Calls on BT?

Anyone know if I can set this up?? Getting fed up with £150 qtly phone bills while the rest of the family think its ok to keep ringing mobiles and letting it go to voicemail costing me 11p plus VAT and then doing it again and again.

You wouldnt believe the number of 2 and 3 second calls on our latest bill.
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D

BT do have a 'Calling Feature' (£1.75/month) to bar calls but it's not as flexible as it could be - and you have to pay each month for the facility.

The easier and, in the slightly longer run, less expensive solution is to install a Phone Guard on each active phone socket and program it/them to allow whatever types of calls you want - everything you don't allow is barred! Don't leave an active socket without one though because one of the family is sure to buy a cheap phone and plug it in there!

You have total control because you can unlock it/them when you get home or simply use the bypass code (keep it secret).
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
