Third Viewing Anyone

Hi

Has any seller here had a potential buyer come round for a third viewing?
Should i be asking the estate agent why they want to come for a third time?

Thanks

I have had buyers that have come 4 or 5 times prior to making and offer and multiple times after the offer. Just go with the flow!
  • I placed an offer last weekend and had been to three viewings beforehand:
1 - short & rushed viewing on a Saturday morning,
2 - more leisurely evening viewing with enough time to properly check out the property and ask our questions,
3 - with parents, to get a second opinion and check we hadn't missed anything

I'm not sure whether this is usual - we're first time buyers so may just be overly cautious.

I once looked at a property 3 times. The third time was to satisfy myself that the updating required could be managed reasonably easy & not too costly. Having done this, I made my offer next morning.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
  • The couple that bought my house viewed it 3 times.
    1. The house price crash will begin.
    2. There will be a dead cat bounce.
    3. The second leg down will commence.
    4. I will buy your house for a song.
  • We did 3 before buying our place, 3rd time to get measurements to ennsure we could fit all our stuff in.

To be fair, if I was making the biggest financial decision of my life then I'd want to make damn sure it was the right one, no matter how many visits it takes!

We viewed a property that we intended to make an offer on 3 times.

I'd take it as a good thing that someone is interested enough in your property to arrange a third viewing. Don't start being difficult about the viewing as this may put them off wanting to buy from you.

I have, and would, view several times before making an offer. Although I tend to go with my gut when buying and I cannot be bothered to do any major work, so will only buy houses with a maximum needed of bathroom, kitchen replacement and all through decoration (including flooring).

Never been wrong about buying a property yet, even if offering after the first viewing though.

I viewed my flat three times before exchanging. I think it's completely normal to view a property three times and OP shouldn't stress out.

We had someone view 3 times, they didn't buy!
