Did anyone else buy the GPS unit from Maplins following the recentish post?
If they did, is anyone more technical than me? I want to put in a waypoint, walk, then another waypoint, and be able to see exactly how far I have walked. The unit tracks well, but blowed if I can fathom out how to do this!
Help please, but have to be step by step....I am good at walking but bad at technology!

on my garmin it automatically records everything you do. you then have to search for this information and save it as a log to get the information out of it.
or i download the data back to the pc into a mapping program (i use anquet) and it will plot where you have been and give distances, heights etc.0
