My wife bought an item from Zara online,it was delivered fine but shortly after someone had used the credit card fraudulently.I can't be sure it is the Zara site but it does add up.When i use Norton safe search it deletes Zara website and says 1 unsafe site removed.I have run security scans, mbam, and spybot to see if my pc is compromised but it all seems ok.Has anyone used the Zara website and had there card compromised afterwards.

The site uses 256 bit encryption and all the personal details are submitted under the certificate and so there isnt an option for eaves dropping on your connection.

You would assume that once it hits their servers that they are storing it there securely with appropriate access controls etc but there is no way to legitimately check that.

Why would security remove it as an unsafe site?

You would really need to check with the security software provider or see if the software gives a reason.

Looking at the digital certificate it all looks fine. I notice that FireFox doesnt pick up the site owner in its security settings, this possibly could be a reason.
