Hi Iv had a credit card for the past few years and had PPI on it. To be honest I am crap with anything todo with money its all just gibberish to me (not something im proad of) . Anyway I cant remember if I asked for it, but I knew I had it on it on. Iv been paying it every month as you do. I went to uni in 2010 for a year and was not working whist at uni as I had a nursung burery. I carried on Paying the PPI as I had a lot on and didnt give it a second thought. I got withdrawn from uni after the first year and had to go on job seekers allowence which is a helps but its very little and as well im a single parent and kids are not cheap . I phoned up my credit card to tell them what has happend and they said that my insurance does not cover leaving uni only work. I should of known that but it was worth a try. so I cancelled my PPI as there were no point on carried it on. Im struggling to pay off my credit card at the moment. Has anyone got any advice

    Hello there & welcome

If you were sold the product as a full time student, you have reason to make a reclaim, and as you have already rang the company/bank they have also declared you were not covered so they will not pay out.

In this case, get a reclaim questionnaire in, do not worry about requesting for paperwork, as long as you have the account number (it will ask for this on the form twice, use the card account number twice).
Once completed, send it to the relevant dept of whoever sold you the product, and keep a copy for yourself as well.

You will find the reclaim questionnaire on step 3 link below, good luck.

Don't worry. The most you have to lose is some stamps.

Send it to whichever firm originally SOLD you the insurance. Ring your card provider (or go to their website) to check for the correct address.
    Good luck!
