Hi,
I attended one 6 months ago in Solihull and was worth going, as I have now decided to go Full Time, although a lot of the content of the Presentations, I knew already and what I wanted to know on things like accounting, tax(!), feedback, ebay's (lack of ) customer service (£20 billion pounds profit and less than 1,000 staff ....I'll say no more) were either ignored or not covered. At times it was a bit of a 'sales pitch' but you did meet alot of other sellers, who were all very friendly apart from who their suppliers were!!
If I remember it was £15.00, so in 6 months it has gone up to £25.00 (more money for ebay!). On the whole, if you are going to trade full time, then go.

I replied to this one last week, surely I can't be the only person on MSE to have attended?

eBay University? Don't make me laugh!!!!!!
It is just a way of them being seen to help you (which you pay for) to maximise your profits (hence theirs). It is a business deal (with eBay the winners, as ever) pure and simple........"Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed." Yes I agree especially now its gone up by £10.00 but if you want to go full time and are newish to ebay and can see through the Sales Pitch, then maybe worth punt. If I go again, then it would be to complain about the lack of customer service (1,000 staff my a***), fees for everything, paypal, feedback....I0
