Seems the same thing happened to Reading & Leeds Festival Buyers too ! Problems with card booking details, confirmations sent, cancellations afterwards etc.
However, this time people are getting the chance to re-purchase from 'held back stock' ! Whether SeeTickets had admitted to being at fault ?
Seems a little unfair to those of you that lost Take That tickets in the same manner ?!?!
Thanks for that, just found a story on it though it doesn't specifically mention SeeTickets (who I had a very unhelpful reply from on it) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6476897.stm
It sounds like a decision by the organisers of the concert rather than the ticket company though0 -

SeeTickets were definately named by Radio 1, on their 'Entertainment News' review, as being the promoter involved. The story is here and names SeeTickets too:

Reading/Leeds ticket update
Weekend tickets for both festivals are now sold out. Fans who received confirmation and cancellation emails are urged to reapply to See Tickets on 0870 0603 775 quoting their original reference. You've got until 7.30pm today to try again.0 -

Thanks for that link. I might contact them again and ask why they've applied different policies for different events.0 -

Another report, though not specifically mentioning SeeTickets:

I didn't book my Take That tickets with SeeTickets, but I know there were a lot of people on this thread, and on the official TT website, that did and subsequently had their bookings cancelled despite receiving confirmations first from SeeTickets.
I just know that I'd be a bit narked if SeeTickets fobbed me off with an excuse and left me empty handed, yet within a few weeks, though with a different event, the same thing happened but this time they were admitting their fault and were offering replacements tickets !0 -

Contact the Radio 1 Newsbeat team too ! Radio 1 are big buddies with Take That afterall !

That's how I feel, I did manage to get other tickets elsewhere in the end, but I was so gutted when I got the cancellation email the next day, and SeeTickets response to me was rubbish, so I am annoyed they're now doing something different for another sold out event with the same situation.0 -

Firstly you need to congratulate yourself for getting 2 lots of tickets in the first place !
If I were you, and this is just my opinion, I would sell the 411 as quickly as you can whilst there is all the hype and no more dates have been announced.
Now, you can either be 'a little discreet, and sell the tickets as 'top price', as they are, though clearly indicating that the tickets have yet to be allocated and you have no say as to the position. If people choose to buy your tickets knowing this, and they will, then it's up to them.
Usually if I have good tickets, I really go out of my way to produce a 'bodged' seating plan which really sells the position of the tickets. If the tickets aren't all that great, and I've had some at the back of venues too, then I don't make a great fuss of their position. I leave out the seating plan and just state the block that the tickets are in. It's then down to the buyer to find out for themselves, often I suspect they don't and they still buy the ticket.
All this is if you want to try and make a profit on your tickets. You will have no trouble selling them at their original price, someone will snap them up.
Tout or businesswoman - not sure whether you have an alternative identity on these boards, but anyway if you see this, you have a private message......0 -
Great single tickets available on Ticketline.... Block 406, Row B at the O2

Keep refreshing, they keep switching as available then unavailable as people try then realise they're single tickets !0 -
If you're not happy with your Seetickets allocation they will do a full refund.
I just checked my allocation for Manchester and found I was in 210 (upper tier - right at the back!) These were £45 tickets as well!
They offered a refund with no hassle.
I got a £272.15 refund from Seetickets for my six tickets that cost in total £300.65, not a full refund after they have taken there costs off.No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -
