Its a pretty bad system. I have never come across a job application where you passed all parts of the process and still not given a defiant answer. Its not really fair to the applicants especially in this economic climate. You just don't know if you're coming or going.0
-
Exactly, but you can't change that system. Waiting its only our friend now.Or just keep calling them and asking.0

Also people keep phoning me offering me loans and there number is almost the same as Man Powers so everytime it rings I get excited lol
Lol my heart jumped when I had a phone call with the same type of number but it was for ppi
It does seem on here at least the rate that manpower are taking people on has slowed down. The last start date to which we know of was the 10th.0 -
I'm waiting anyone to tell starting dates. If not, then I feel the worst thing.Recruitment closed0

Guys, wether or not they have stopped recruitment i don't know. But i spoke to the lady from recruitment, and she said to me, ( and this is not rumours or heresay as it's come from the horses mouth) that recruitment will take them into january. Whether they are having a break or not to let the first 500 odd settle in is beyond me.0

Well people still having manual assessments. In a Manpower webpage you still can apply for JLR job. So it means they still recruiting. It can't be the end.Well, I hope so.They're recruiting over and over again.Manpower should inform people with any changes.None got that information that they stopped. Fingers still crossed for the best0

I'm guessing they are still recruiting but as punk84 put it maybe there waiting till the new production is place until they ring successful applicants.
I'm just wondering if you got the email does that mean you have secured a job?. It just seems a waste of time if your waiting for a phone call which will never come because you never scored high enough on the application process. The email does state that they will contact you if you have been "successful in securing a position."
Who knows :rotfl:0 -
You can't secure that position until you get a call telling you were successful. But believe me they still taking people on.But who knows now when they be willing to call applicants. That waiting killing all. They making people nervous a lot.0

some people on here got unsuccesful emails, so im sure we would have known by now.0 -
I know the position has not been secured, far from it. There's no point being nervous about it hanging around the phone for possibly weeks on end. Personally I would move on and if you do get contact its an added bonus.0
