I was thinking the same they have gone very quite, before they were on here every day
but since they started they gone missing it's either the job is very stressing or they don't like the site no more lol.
Would be nice if you can give the rest of us a heads up and what to expect, your silence is making us awkward thinking what have we got out selfs into.
Hope they aren't too exhausted to come on here or even type!!!
Aint that bad is it ? Lol0 -
Completed the pera training and into my first week (last night tonight), it's close to what i expected (work wise) but the pace is crazy (some zone and stations are easier/harder then others) and also what your GL is like.
I've done nothing but sweat buckets the past 3 nights but it's getting ever so slightly easier every shift.0 -

Congratulations on him getting to the next stage. I done mine today so its just about waiting for the pass or fail call. Interview questions I think will be the same as what people have written in the earlier posts.0 -

It does get easier and soon you will be cruising along. It has been terrible this week with the heat overnight.
We have to wear flame resistant jackets and wear heavy leather gauntlets whilst being showered with red hot sparks . Luckily our GLs are ok and let us get drinks etc regularly.0 -
hi there was wondering if any of you could offer me some advice...
basically i went for my interview on the 9th of july at the castle vale skill centre after completing my manual assesment on the 1st of july. I rang manpower today to see what happens next as i received an email after my manpower interview stating id completed the recruitment stages and to await further correspondence, the lady i spoke to told me i had to call back in the next week as they haven't received any more start dates from JLR, was just wondering if any of you were in the same boat as me and what happened next? really eager to start ASAP!! any replies would be gratefully received. thanks0 -
Hiya. It's not like we forgot about this place.. We are just busy on new job
training went very smooth and I miss it already. First week on the truck wasn't hard as we are on training. I really enjoy that probably because of great GL.
It was 200pp who started on 1st of July and 65 are on shifts now and the rest is on straight days. Lots of people who are on straight days will go to new building after shut down.
For people who still waiting for a call.. There was group of 150 which started on Monday, next group starts on 28th another 230pp. . And one more group on 8th. I'm afraid after them next intake will be in October when new building will go on two shifts and another in April for third shift. But I might be wrong.
Good luck0 -
Has anyone got a number to call to find out when they will be giving start dates for Solihull again?0

Hiya people just a heads up, first week on track nearly done after the 2 weeks pera training, I agree with others some jobs are easy others not hard but just demanding, the pace does get you at first but as you get use to it it becomes second nature, my gl is grest to be honest fair and reasonable. Learnt one job complete from tomorrow will learn another. Looking forward to it. Been told my perm days will be switched over to new build coming november. Good luck to others who are starting.0
