Ok, so I have received a contract in the post for the i54 plant today, upon looking through it, it says that overtime is paid at 33%.
No mention of the 200% on sundays??

Does anyone know anything else about this?

I think you will be wishing for 200% matey! Even the old rover boys don't get anywhere near that !

I heard a while ago that all O/T at i54 was going to be time and a third (33%).

Think you mean double time for Sundays (100%) not 200%, that would be triple time ;)

As far as I know Solihull and CB get 33% weekday O/T for first couple of hours then 50% for rest, Saturday 50% and Sunday 100%.

Unfortunately i54 being a new facility they are able to have completely new/different terms and conditions which don't have to match those in place elsewhere.

I said before about 200% but you misunderstood that. By 200% I meant if your normal pay by manpower is let's say 11,5 per hour that means on Saturday you will get paid 17,25 per hour and on Sunday 23 per hour

Doh! That's what I meant time and a half and double time :) But yeah as said the only mention of OT is at 33%

Sunday overtime is paid at time and 2/3 so not fully double time

Hiya, did you wait almost 3 months for manual? ? Because one of my friend who applied in the end of February still didn't have it so she wondered to reapply. She called them few times and they keep saying she has to wait. . But I know that there are some people who got the manual assessments just a week after they applied. Did you have any experience?

Yep it was just under 3 months, mid February when I did the online test then I got a call for the manual assessment. I think things are moving along pretty rapid for the most recent applicants.

So should I recommend her to wait or should she try to do online test again?

OK guys, here's the low down.......
Having spoken to two managers at Solihull, I have been reliably informed that JLR Solihull will not be recruiting anybody new till after the 2 week August shutdown. Apparently it's due to the new building (where the new starters will work) not being finished in time and pushing the start date back from May to Sept/Oct.

Well don't know who told you that. There will be 2 shifts come September the first cars come off the new line on the 12th of July. You have 2 weeks classroom work then 2 week training on the track.
