    Hello everyone,
I have my manual assessment on wednesday at castle vale college. This is my second go as I failed miserably about 10 months ago following the tests at Tysley. Basically I panicked and rushed it, so this time I need to stay calm etc etc.
My question really is, do you take your time and read the instructions bit by bit as you go thru the process and risk running out of time or do you try and memorise what the jlr guy has shown you and risk getting it wrong??

    Yours thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hiya,
My friend failed his manual assessment and he doesn't know what to do now. Would you tell me how did you get into assessment? Did you have to pass the online assessment as well or you got only manual assessment straight away? He also failed because of stress. . He didn't finished because he got a problem to fit one thing and later he started coming back to instruction and the time was finished. I wonder now what is better, to wait or to do another account like zwdpacjent ?! I'm only afraid they would recognise him... but on another side I dont believe that recrutation will be open in 3months time.

Hi, EmmaS123 I had to re-apply and start from scratch. So, online assessment first, wait for call/email to see if you have passed that, then manual assessment and so on.
You have to wait a minimum of 3 months before you can apply again. Don`t try and do another account. They will catch you !!
    Hope this helps
    Best of luck

V12 thanks for your answer and don't worry you will be fine its good that you finished this time. I have my interview tomorrow. . So stressed now!

Does anyone try to do another account and apply second time? I wonder what could be consequences like if they catch you.

Reject your application and any future ones or if you have already started working, sack you.
  • Hi can anyone give me an idea as to how long it takes to hear something after the final interview? Thanks

Doesn't sound as a good idea then.

V12 would you tell me one more thing. . Was your online test and manual assessment the same 10months ago or different?
    Cheers

EmmaS123, Online tests were very similar from what I can remember but the manual assessment was different.
The previous one was 2 separate tasks, now they seemed to have combined it into one longer one with 3 elements to it.
To be honest, i found this one easier, BUT you HAVE TO FOCUS and LISTEN and TAKE YOUR TIME.

Hope this helps and good luck for tomorrow.

Thanks guys for all advices, i believe everything will be ok. I think it will be better to wait.

Do you know how to count this 3 months? From the time when you applied or from the time when you ve been told that you failed? !
