Best offer.....

There is an item that has taken my fancy, it has a BIN and a best offer.
So assuming that they are flexable (or they would not suggest it )on the price what is a reasonable amount to suggest. X percentage below the asking price ?
I dont think its worth the time or effort to suggest something ridiculous !!

I've only done this once.
I think I offered 25% less than the BIN. Seller came back with an offer of 15% less which I accepted.0 -
Depends on whether you consider it a good price to start with. If your offer is refused you cannot make another so would probably have to buy at the BIN price. If there are other sellers with same item at good prices might be worth a gamble. I recently bought an item (kitchen appliance) so it had an rrp I checked at several shops / websites. An ebay business seller was already selling this item cheaper than anywhere else as a bin so i only offered 5% less. Suited me and i got the item.0

I sell a few things with BIN and Best Offer. Lot of factors in what price I will accept below the BIN but for repeated items have to be wary as new buyers will be able to check what price was paid and this then becomes the norm.
Ebay no longer allows the seller to see the Best Offer bidders details to discourage any off ebay dealings.0 -

You can make up to 3 offers on an item. What goes around - comes around0 -
I put in an offer and it was rejected BUT this was the only offer I was allowed!
Never mind I am not willing to pay any more than that anyway!:eek:0
