can anyone recommend a good hotel in Milan?

Hiya,

A group of us girls are thinking of going to Milan for a weekend break in May can anyone recommend a good, reasonalbly price hotel. preferably close to the city centre.

Have been taking a look at various hotel websites and as we dont know alot about the place I thought "I know Ill ask that lot on mse, they have the answers to everything!!"

would be grateful for any advice and also hints and tips for the break itself!

I wouldn't really recommend Milan, I'd suggest Nice or Palma on https://www.flybe.com from Southampton

have to go on set dates so palma flights are out of the question, looked at the nice ones and they are £90 each way :eek: for the dates we require, the flights I found for Milan are less than that in total! thanks for the advice though

if you do end up in Milan, DONT stay at the Roxy. It was cheap but outdated, dark, and noisy!! Avoid at all costs!!

BTW the http://flightchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/ is useful for flights from Southampton on Flybe and Thomson.

Bournemouth Airport BOH is also checkable.
