How reliable was is?
How long did it take to set up?
We are moving house and things are moving rather quick!
So i thought it would be easier to set this up!

We used this and takes about 5 days notice.
I only moved about 6 houses down the road - lots of mail gets "through the net" - mainly junk though, but it still relies on local postie knowledge if the sorting office didn't do the job right - and that's every day.DFW No. 344
Proud to be dealing with my debts!!:T0 -
I did it three times last year
It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing(!), I agree that it does seem to be junk mail that slips through the net. and Tesco Clubard stuff!
I still don't get much from them and they have my new address! Where are my vouchers? I have over 21000 coming this month! :eek:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I have used this for my past three moves and don't think I've had any problems.
I've also extended it online and it all seems to be going OK...We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Ive had this prob DG.
Basically, they reckon all upodate but CC itself, and the clubs are all on seperate databases. ( so if you have wine/ baby/ food etc) you need to ring them again and get them to get thier act together and make sure you are on all mailers. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I have used it before and found that it has been cery reliable. You can set it up from one month to six (from memory) it is relatively inexpensive and the mail is redirected bundled and sealed by the Royal Mail before delivery to your new address. It is no substitute for informing all your regular corrspondence of your new address though. That way it is only junk mail that tends to be redirected.0

I'm still using them and we moved in August. I've had no problems and found Royal Mail very efficient. I simply renew online.0

We started using when we move a couple of months ago.
The initial set up takes about a week, and as far as I know we haven't had any problems.
Must make a mental note of what is still being re-directed, as I have changed all the important stuff.
Barclays Bank turned out to be most difficult to change !0 -
Used this service and is recommended as whilst not 100% perfect is 99% there.
Also, it is advised you redirect for about a year as the people who move into your house may attempt to clone your identity if banks and credit card companies send stuff addressed to you but at your old address. Lots of cloning takes place this way, those junk mail flyers addressed to you personally offering you a credit card, etc. At least this kind of junk mail will find itself to your new house where you can promtply destroy it.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -
Don't see the point anymore in offering advice to people who only want to be agreed with...0 -
The problem I have with this is it's hard to tell how it's working, as if a letter fails to get to you, then by definition you never see it, so you don't know you were supposed to get it!
Have used RM redirection several times with no (obvious!) probs. Can renew online now, which is handy.Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery0
