Credit checks and how to obtain one

I'd like to do a credit check on myself. I did do one some years ago as a one off after someone tried to access my bank account and fortunately the bank were on their toes and stopped them. As I recall I was able to obtain a one-off credit check which was happily clear and I'd like to recheck again but all the credit check agencies seem to offer a rolling subscription which involves a fee and I'm sure that's not necessary. Can anyone advise of a company which still does the one off credit checks for a small fee rather than being forced to pay a monthly subscription.

Noddle is free for life but it is the least used agency and certainly my report with them is much less complete than with Experian
