Van tyres

One of our popular subjects.

I need a pair of 215/70/15 load index 109 for my van.

Currently on Continental Vancos, but they're £100+ now,

Matador
Primewell
Kumho
Nankang
GT Radial
Toyo

all less than £70 delivered, plus another £10 fitting.

The van's slow, but like everything else I drive,always fully laden.

Toyo, Nankang, Khumo.

I have Khumo's on my car and they work well, But a few have commented on them having fairly weak sidewalls.

Maybe the van tyres are better built for that?

Heard about issues with Federal and Matadors with sidewalls cracking after a couple of years.

Seem to remember having Matador's on my van before and the sidewalls got massive splits(not cracks) in them as if they'd been slashed but not all the way through.They also wore very quickly on the shoulders.They were replaced with Toyos which were fine.

From your list I would probably choose Kumho, Toyo or Matador. The first two seem to have a decent reputation and Matador is part-owned by Continental so shouldn't be all bad.
