Lidl marmalade is also very good. They do the chunky or thin cut.

I love the tin on marmalade pulp you can buy. I make 5 or 6 jars of tasty marmalade for about 45p a jar.

Yes! Me too, very tasty and cheap and easy to do, but unfortunately Mamade don't seem to do the chunky variety anymore (at least I can't seem to find it anywhere) - so I have to make do with the thin cut one :(

Yum yum yum! Got some maribel apricot & blackcurrant jam. Very nice :D Thank yoi!
Also got Lidls cheap mixed fruit jam and am quite impressed, I thought it'd be a tasteless sugary jam like most cheap mixed fruit jams but its not! You can actually taste the fruit, perfect for when my little neice comes round as its smooth so less mess :D
Where'd you get marmalade pulp from?

Another vote for aldi conserve :j
  • I've got some Grandessa Apricot Conserve from Aldi - I haven't tasted it yet but it looks absolutely lovely, it appears to be packed full of fruit.

If it tastes as good as it looks then I'll only be buying jam from Aldi. In fact, my list of things that I shall only be buying from Aldi in future is growing by the week.

My fave is a Lidl Maribel forest fruits flavour - really yummy and I am not a jam lover. We got the plum flavour too in the autumn (special buy) as my little boy wanted to try it and it is really nice. They are 89p in my local store.
    3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I absolutely adore Waitrose Jam and marmalade!
    Very reasonably priced:
    Essential Jam: 90p
    Essential Marmalade: 61p
SuperScrumplicious Marmalade (lemon, grapefruit, 3 fruits): £1.29

..and right now 3 for 2 offer!!!! :j
(so you are paying 60p, 40p and 86p respectively)

Don't know if you've all seen the latest MoneyTips email, Waitrose are currently selling Bonne Maman conserves and marmalade 3 for 2 until 10/04/2012.

Do bear in mind though, Grandessa conserves are 89p for 454g (19.6p/100g). Not sure how much their marmalade is though, I'm not a fan of marmalade.
