Are Voyage Prive trustworthy?

Some of there prices seem really good for high quality hotels, but I have never heard of them.... Has anyone here used them?

They've been advertising loads on TV so seem to be a fairly large established company. Dunno what their customer service is like.

I've only read reviews from folk who have used Voyage Prive for Disneyland Paris trips, but they have no complaints, everything ran smoothly.

If google the name , you will find i think reviews on tripadvisor dating back to about 2 years. Seems ok. Make sure you buy using a credit card , just in case holidays dont turn up

I booked an Inghams holiday through Voyage Priv! last year. Everything ran smoothly and there were loads of others at the hotel on the same deal. No complaints from anyone. I would use Voyage Priv! again. In fact I hope to, as soon as another good deal for Lakes and Mountain holidays comes up.

Very unimpressed with their 'customer service' - mishandled my booking so ended up with a double room instead of twin-bedded and then blamed hotel. When you book a holiday through a company you trust them to get it right, that's why you pay extra costs!
Wish I read some reviews before I used them - discovered similar problems with other customers!!!

We booked a 3night/4day stay at the Sequoia Lodge in Disneyland Paris and had no problems whatsoever. Fantastic price for what was included and have zero complaints in regards to their customer service. We had a brilliant holiday.

we booked a holiday with them earlier this year and it was great. I think they just act as an agent though, everything - the holiday arrangements etc are handled through the main tour operator. I can't comment on their customer services however as thankfully I didn't need to contact them.

Are Voyage Prive trustworthy? The simple answer is no. We booked a holiday with them and it was horrendous. The villa wasn't finished - exposed wires, flooded daily etc, the facilities didn't exist (sauna, restaurant etc) the flights were awful (filthy plane, out of date food, surly staff). They offered a refund of 25% which never materialised and the MD offered to put together a compensation package and we never heard from him or Voyage Prive again. Needless to say it's now in the hands of ABTA, so not only did we have an awful holiday, I'm also now having to waste my time writing letters and collating paper work. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company like the plague.

For the most part it seems your complaints are actually directed at the airline company as well as the hotel. You need to carry out extensive research regardless of what one website tells you.

I for one had a great experience with VP and have booked a second trip with them for the end of March, but I do think you should have received more decent communication from them in regards to your complaints.

I wouldn't necessarily avoid them like the plague when the majority of their feedback is positive, but there are risks when you book anything through a company like this.
