Dear all,
Could you pls help me with this question?
In your opinion, what is the best thin camera under £500?
For the past few years, I only bought two cameras, all of which were under £100. Their biggest problem is that night pictures are very bad. And apparently the colours are not beautiful as many pictures I saw on my friends' facebook.
I have used Samsung and Nikon, so perhaps this time I want to move on to Sony, panasonic or Canon.
Your kind advice is greatly appreciated.

The problem with "thin" is that it is probably the worst compromise that you can make with a camera.
It forces the maker to create a complex, multi-stage lens system, and makes it very difficult to use anything other than a small sensor. The latter means that low-light photos will always be poor (excessive noise).
If you want better quality photos, it probably makes more sense to carry a phone with built-in camera for spontaneous snaps, and a bigger, better camera when you know you are likely to want quality.0
