Hi I tried doing a search first but can't find the answer.
I just found out my son has lost his ipod which I bought in Nov on a mastercard. Does anyone know how long the purchase cover is for is it 6 months or 90 days.
Thanks

Most cards don't offer purchase protection cover.
Who is the card issuer?0 -
Cover for such situations isn't provided as standard.
However, if you post the card provider and type of card hopefully someone will search the T&Cs for you and/or provide a link.0 -
Most cards don't offer that sort of purchase protection.
For those that do you'd need to ask the card issuer0 -

Not sure if there's an excess on these cards, but willing to bet there's almost certainly one on a standard home contents 'insurance policy'.0 -
It's not necessarily worth claiming small items on home insurance policies.
There is the excess, loss of "no claims bonus" and a loading for claiming for 3-5 years.
Get the son to work/save for it.0 -
I know that Capital One offers 100 days of insurance on all their standard cards but it's the only major issuer who I know of who does it. I would be surprised if any credit card insured you for 6 months.0
