Thread deleted because of violation of rule. I'm sorry it was rather inappropriate. I honestly didn't know.

Your kind offer breaks all sorts of rules as well as train regs, and no-one (with any sense) is going to pass on their details to you via pm. (Which is against site rules too!)
Also the jobsworth train hectors who search out posts like this will be jumping up and down too!0 -
Scribbler1 - Why don't you get your ticket refunded? All you have to do is go back to the site where you originally booked your ticket and apply for a refund. It will cost you £10, so if your ticket was £10.05 you'll only get an extra 5p (every penny counts
) It doesn't matter if you've collected the tickets or not (I'm 99% sure, although you might have to return it to them in the post)
If you bought the ticket in person at a station, simply go back and request a refund and make sure you take your tickets along. Not sure if there's a fee involved here.
Nice of you to offer it out to other folks for free though.A caped crusader of awesome consumer justice! :cool2: :beer:0 -

I am awfully sorry. I thought I was doing someone a favour. If it's against the rule, I hope Martin will forgive me.
Since it appears that my kindness is rather inappropriate, I'm going to delete this post.
Thanks everyone for the knock on my head.0 -
Advance tickets are not refundable - only flexible ones. As the post has gone we don't know which this is
It could be changeable if you want to go at a later date.0 -

You can refund advance fares, but only by paying a £10 admin. charge. I've used this option several times in the past, as sometimes you can find a dirt-cheap advance fare and later not be able to use it.
